Arrived early, offered tea and cakes. Enormous, comfortable bed. Lovely walk along Thames Path to The Trout, then to Halfpenny Bridge, village, church yard. Varied breakfast choices, great to sit with other guests. Will definitely return.

The location of the hotel was great, being close to the River Thames and within walking distance to the nearby village. The historical aspect of the building and the tranquil grounds added to the charm of the place. the staff were friendly and accommodating.
The bed sheets were dirty and covered in dust, and there were dead flies on the thing above the bed. The shared bathrooms were inconvenient, especially for someone who prefers showers over baths.

I had a truly memorable and romantic stay at Buscot Manor. The attention to detail in creating a romantic atmosphere was impressive, with a huge four-poster bed and lovely textiles throughout. The afternoon tea on arrival, with multiple cake options, was a delightful touch. The breakfast selection was extensive and delicious, catering to all tastes. The location near Kelmscott and Buscot Park was perfect for exploring. I highly recommend this charming and romantic hotel.

We had the most wonderful stay at Bascot Manor last weekend. Our hosts couldn't have been more accommodating. Our 8-year-old son loved feeding the chickens and stroking the friendly dog. The rooms were beautifully decorated with great sympathy to the history of this National Trust house. The breakfast was absolutely scrumptious, with warm pastries and cooked options. The location, just a few hundred metres from the picturesque Thames river, was perfect for relaxation and exploring the area. We will surely return.
Totally recommend this hotel.

Romany, attentive hostess. Cozy accommodations. Quirky old manor house. Great base for exploring. Plentiful breakfast with fresh strawberries. Shared bathroom not a problem. Short walk to Thames.
All was good.
